The presentation will focus on research-driven innovation, exemplified by the process leading to the establishment and development of the spin-off company Novelda based on research at the NANO group. Scientific background and key research topics will also be covered. In addition, use of external funding schemes (RCN, EU etc.) to enable university research and industrial innovation will be discussed including examples of projects within this scope and related IPR handling.
