About the project
To achieve this, we will setup a core network of Nordic researchers, with the possibility to invite input from the outside. The network will meet about once a month. Most of the meetings will be online, but twice a year we will meet for 2-day seminars held at different members. Here we will discuss the latest research and can invite guests from outside. We will also agree on the next steps to take.
We are all busy people, so we know from other research networks that seminars will not move a lot. Therefore, this the project will have 3 ph.d. students that will be hosted at UiO, RUC, and Helsinki. They will, of course, have their own projects in the area. But part of this will be to implement ideas and tasks from the seminars in collaboration with members of the project. This should enable even more collaboration, than discussion from the seminars more quickly to research and, thus, papers.
Finally, as dissemination, we plan that this will lead to creating schedule, material, and methods that can be used for courses at the universities or summer schools.
At RUC and UiO we have also budgeted with some longer visits. Both for guest research and going to others. This can also be a possibility for others.
We intend that this will be a first step towards a larger project (e.g. EU Horizon) and satellite events.
