Shannon HR50 Plastic Bending Machine

Our Shannon HR50 Plastic Bending Machine was generously financed by Sparebankstiftelsen DNB
Shannon HR50 uses heating wire to make plastics malleable. It is a strip heater thus its used to bend plastics in a straight line. We intended to use this machine as a accessory to our laser cutter

- Set appropriate temperature.
- Adjust the backstop so the bend line lines up with the heating wire.
- Once the press has reached the desired temperature, position the plastic on the work area.
- Wait until the plastic becomes malleable.
- Bend your thing.
- Turn off the machine and tidy up after you.
