How can AI be a useful tutor in learning front end development? Can data generated from interaction with AI help students get a better sense of how and what they are learning?
There is already a self-paced learning module for IN5320. However, the module is not aligned with recent AI developments and programming practices.
How can an AI tutor be leveraged to facilitate better learning of the front-end development material?
The project will explore potential ways to incorporate AI by looking at possible integrations of the existing self paced module, Universet (a UiO learning platform with built in AI), UiO GPT, and general AI assisted application development.
The project will face interesting decision-points related to informatic didactics, student rights (data), and programming practice (most students are likely to want to use AI inside different IDE – Integrated Development Environment).
Relevant theory / literature: informatics didactics.
Suitable for two students working together (includes technical hands on work).
