Information Modelling Lab (IM-Lab) focuses on methodologies and technologies for structuring, integrating, and reasoning over complex engineering and scientific data. Core topics include information modelling, formal logic, semantic technologies, knowledge representation, neuro-symbolic artificial intelligence, and systems thinking, with applications spanning digital engineering and industrial systems.
IM-Lab provides students with opportunities to develop tailored master’s thesis projects aligned with their interests and background. Thesis topics may address theoretical, methodological, or applied research questions and can often be connected to ongoing research projects and real-world industrial challenges.
