In our group, we are developing a digital twin that visualizes the climate pressure on the Oslo Fjord. To preserve biodiversity in the fjord, it is important to understand which areas in the fjord need to be protected and when they need to be protected. Biologists have developed models to simulate the drift of fish eggs, and depending on where the egg drifts, it may or may not survive.
The aim of this master's thesis is to integrate an existing drift model for Atlantic cod eggs into the digital twin of the Oslo Fjord.
In this master thesis, you will work with an already established drift simulation based on a metrological model. The aim is to create a runtime monitor that verifies the habitat conditions of the drifting eggs.
