Industry 4.0 is a major trend in the digitalization of manufacturing and engineering, which at its core relies on rich information models and software tools for their processing. This thesis is about ensuring the software quality of such tools through testing.
The student is expected to pick one software tool from the IMF tool bench, design a testing strategy and perform a detailed testing campaign that is based on input generation. The thesis involves: (1) analysis of existing software systems, (2) implementation of a test input generation, and (3) analysis of eventually found faults.
