Master's thesis - what? who? when? how?
"All the things you will wish someone had told you when you started writing your master's thesis! (Or at least some of them. A couple, in any case.)
We will talk about 'the planning, researching, organising and structuring of your thesis; finding tips and tricks in places as varied as chemistry labs, coding practices and Richard Feynman's brain.
'Plus, we will discuss basic rules and thoughts on using artificial intelligence.'
No preparations needed, just show up as you are."
We will serve food!
The seminar will be hosted by:
Yutong Shan, PhD, is a Senior Academic Librarian at the Science Library. She develops and teaches workshops and seminars on library use and research skills in the natural sciences.
Eleonora Parelius, PhD, has a part-time position at ITS, supervising students, and a full position as a scientist at FFI working with machine learning and geospatial data.
She holds a PhD in Biophysics from NTNU and has written a few theses in her life. She also likes to think about how we can best acquire, build, and share knowledge (i.e. write a thesis ;)
