Master's thesis presentation workshop

You have just delivered your thesis, but the job is not quite finished yet! The defence is coming up, where you will present your work and discuss it with your censors.

We are holding an informal workshop where you can get presentation tips, brainstorm how to structure your talk, listen to what others are planning, or even get feedback on your ideas. You are welcome to participate actively, but it is also completely fine to just listen. Just remember it will be a very boring workshop if everyone only listens ;)

Feel free to bring whatever you have already prepared for your presentation, however little you might think it is. Talking in front of people can be scary, but it gets less scary the more you do it, so this is a great opportunity to practice in a low-stakes setting.

We hope to see many of you there!

Light refreshments will be served.

The workshop will be hosted by:

Eleonora Parelius, PhD, has a part-time position at ITS, supervising students, and a full position as a scientist at FFI working with machine learning and geospatial data.

She holds a PhD in Biophysics from NTNU and has written a few theses in her life. She also likes to think about how we can best acquire, build, and share knowledge (i.e. write a thesis ;)
