I work on developing mathematical models to describe the fluid mechanics of droplets on fibers, based on lubrication theory. Using numerical methods, including the finite element method and phase-field models, I study how droplets and thin liquid films evolve and are transported on complex fiber geometries.
Background
- 2025 - present: PhD Research Fellow, Mechanics, UiO
- 2020 - 2025: MSc, Applied Physics and Mathematics, NTNU
Master’s degree in Applied Physics and Mathematics from NTNU in Trondheim, with a specialization in Technical Physics. My master’s thesis was conducted in collaboration with PoreLab, where I studied the Shannon entropy of two-phase flow in porous media by developing a wavelet-based method for entropy estimation.
