Academic interests

My PhD project focuses on developing advanced statistical methodologies for so-called global fits in high-energy physics. My research interests include confidence distribution-based methods, high-dimensional inference, and corrections for non-regular inference conditions. This project is supervised by Riccardo De Bin in collaboration with the cross-disciplinary research group PLUMBIN’ at the University of Oslo.

Background

I completed my Master’s in theoretical physics at the University of Oslo in 2024, under the supervision of Prof. Are Raklev. My thesis focused on developing knowledge-refined priors for Gaussian process emulation of particle physics processes. During this work, I became interested in the intersection of statistics and particle physics.
