Elena Mamonova on red dwarfs and exoplanets

PHAB researcher Elena Mamonova was recently interviewed in the Norwegian science magazine Titan on her new models for showing how powerful stellar flares can alter the chemistry of young planetary atmospheres without necessarily destroying them. Her findings provide new insights into which exoplanets may have the best chances of remaining habitable over time.
