Multiple groups of students visited ITA on their Researcher Safari tour, and Research Fellows from our different research sections awaited them to share their exciting work and to show students what they can look forward to if they choose to continue their studies and conduct research at ITA.

The Rosseland Centre for Solar Physics was represented by Mats Kirkaune and Petra Kohutova.

Mats spoke about the various activities relating to solar physics at ITA, from simulations to observations in the optical and radio. Pictures from a recent observing campaign at the Swedish Solar Telescope (SST) were shown, our first co-observing campaign with the SST and ALMA.
