Academic interests

I have a keen interest in simulating early Universe phase transitions and to obtain the resulting imprints on early Universe backgrounds. To this end, I mostly specialize in simulating Topological Defects (cosmic strings, domain walls) and First Order phase transitions. Via a combination of semi-analytical modeling and simulations, I seek to improve our current understanding of the expected signals on the Stochastic Gravitational Wave Background. For strings, I have also delved into extracting relic Dark matter abundances of axions. The large-scale simulations I often use require extreme High-Performance Computing resources, of which I specialize in using thousands of Graphics Processing Units.
