New printing system and printers: Papercut and HP printers

We have got new printers installed and configured!
All should be able to use web printing from https://print.uio.no/

For all devices on net: The web page at https://print.uio.no/ is good for web printing from all platforms (OSes) as well as getting status of your print job(s).

On UiO managed Macs: The new print queue is: "pull.uio.no HP".
Drivers should be installed at all macs as of 2024-03-12. [1]

UiO managed Linux machines: Drivers are installed; printer is "UiOPrintHP"

For UiO managed Windows machines: Look for "hp on pull.uio.no" on your device. - ok as of 2024-03-13

For UiO managed iOS devices: Ready installed as "UiO-Print"; prt-pcmp-p1, PaperCut

For non UiO machines including handheld devices:
In addition to printing from the web page https://print.uio.no/ to the Papercut-printers you may install Mobilityprint on your device;

With Mobilityprint you download a small installation file setting up the printer at your device.
Log in with your UiO user name and password, choose the correct print queue Pull_HP and you are able to print to all printers in PaperCut.
Mobilityprint is claimed to work well from phones, pads, Macs, Windows and Linux PCs.
One problem noted is print from iOS/Android may not be in colour.

The old pullprint_Ricoh-queues are not longer available at Rosselands House - but for some time they may be used elsewhere at UiO. If needed use the web print for SafeCom
NB! You can not print to the old printing systems from https://print.uio.no/  - only to the new system (PaperCut).
For more information, see the UiO page for more information about the new printing system.
