Migration of StorNext data [DONE]

We are migrating a number of StorNext file systems from old to new hardware. While migrating both the old and the new storage systems need to be online. This makes the numbers you get when you do df wrong. On this page you can see the real free space and the progress of data migration.

Data migration

We have added new hardware with the same size as the old to the system. This means that the total available space you see with df is twice as big as the real total space. Space on the old system is set read only, meaning that new data is written to the new storage. File systems where no data has been migrated and no new data has been written will show 50% full. As we migrate data from the old to the new this will increase.

This makes it hard to use df to figure out what the real free space is. Check this page for the real numbers and status of data migration. We will update the numbers daily, so they will not be exact.

/mn/stornext/d19, d20, d21 and d22 will not be migrated, and df shows correct numbers.

Status

Migration is complete. Numbers using the df command are now correct.

The table below will no longer be updated.
