At the general assembly we select new members, as well as representatives to the Department Board, the Bachelor program Physics, astronomy and meteorology (FAM) and the Masters program Astronomy. As a AFU-member you will have an unique opportunity to affect the astrophysicist-students everyday, both academically and social (through gaming nights etc), and get to know other astrophysicist students at bachelors and graduate level. After the meeting we'll serve free pizza, and remember, joining AFU is not compulsory at attendance.
