This is what Sarah has to say about her research:

"My research interests focus on studying the partitioning of trace elements and volatiles in minerals, fluids and melts, and understanding the role of crystal chemistry in their distribution. I use ab initio modelling and molecular dynamics. I am currently working on the partitioning of noble gases in melts of various compositions (granitic, basaltic…) and in silicates".
