I started my PhD at CEES in June 2021 on the AgriDeer project with Atle Mysterud as my main supervisor, and finished in June 2024. I am now associated with CEES as a guest researcher. For my PhD I studied the connection between red deer (Cervus elaphus) and agricultural farmland. Specifically, I investigated the selection of agricultural farmland by red deer on multiple spatial scales, the red deer's timing of migration and how access to farmlands may affect this, and grazing patterns on farmlands by red deer on temporal and multiple spatial scales. I have also previously worked with wild alpine reindeer (Rangifer tarandus tarandus) during my Master's where I studied their sex-specific space use patterns.
