Academic interests
My research has been focused on human genetics within the ancient DNA field. During my PhD I worked with method development of sequencing and analysis methods for ancient materials. I have worked extensively with NGS method as well as lower scale. My research was focused on varying methodological questions (as for example molecular sexing) and the Neolithisation process in Europe.
I joined CEES in june 2015 to work in the exciting new project, a collaboration of KHM and CEES, on Pioneers of North-Western Europe: Determining the hidden sources of human colonisation of Norway.
