I hold a PhD degree in plant systematics from UiO and have worked as postdoc/researcher at Uppsala, Gothenburg and NMBU. My research interest is primarily phylogenetics, especially relating to fossil dating and reticulate evolution. Organisms of choice have been diploid wheats and grasses in general, Viola and Violaceae, Geranium, and Salicaceae. Here at CEES I will be working on the Earth Biogenome Project during spring 2020.
