Background

I'm an evolutionary geneticist by training with a background in ancient DNA and museomics. I obtained my PhD from the University of Zurich and I was a postdoctoral researcher at CEES working on archaeological fish material. After a two-year stay at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, where I set up a new lab for processing herbarium samples, I rejoined CEES as an engineer with the Norwegian Sequencing Centre.
