SINTEF, NTNU and UiO will join forces to create an internationally outstanding scientific community for technology development and research on small satellites.

Gemini centers are a strategic model to encourage cooperation between the University of Oslo, NTNU, SINTEF, St. Olavs Hospital and NTNU Social Research. The centers aim to establish more robust scientific communities that in turn are better equipped at seeking new opportunities.

The newly established center is funded for 2022-2026. The participants are SINTEF Digital, SINTEF Ocean, NTNU Department of Electronic Systems, NTNU Department of Engineering Cybernetics, NTNU Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and UiO Department of Technology Systems and CENSSS.
