Free open air cinema at Blindern // First Man
To celebrate the 1969 moon landing by Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin in Apollo 11, we are screening First Man (2018) at open air cinema and bringing telescopes to see the moon.
Ryan Gosling is playing the lead part in this fantastic movie by Damien Chazelle, the creator of movies like La La Land and Whiplash.
Please dress warm, bring something to sit on and invite new friends to join in!
First Man is a biopic on the life of the legendary American Astronaut Neil Armstrong from 1961–1969, on his journey to becoming the first human to walk the moon. Exploring the sacrifices and costs on the Nation and Neil himself, during one of the most dangerous missions in the history of space travel.
Before the movie starts at 20:30 there will be some short talks about the moon and the journey there. These will be in Norwegian.
There will be food and soft drinks for sale from 19:00.
The event is free of charge, open to everybody and non-alchoholic.
