In June, Karina Ervik received an award for the best poster at an international conference on lipids. With the scholarship awarded by the Norwegian Pharmaceutical Society, I traveled to the beautiful city of Edinburgh to attend the 9th European Workshop on Lipid Mediators (9EWLM). This is an international conference held every two years, focusing on various lipids and their biological effects. This year's conference had 145 participants from a total of 19 countries. The three-day event was packed with exciting lectures, poster presentations, and mingling among the attendees. Her poster was titled “Stereoselective Synthesis, Pro-resolution, and Anti-inflammatory Actions of RvD5n-3 DPA”.
