I explore how bone-forming cells grow, organize, and build mineralized structures. My research integrates biophysics, bioengineering, and computational modeling with experimental work in biomimetic hydrogels, microfluidic systems, and micropatterned substrates. Through combination, I aim to improve regenerative potential and understand the cues to guide cell differentiation.
My PhD is supervised by Prof. Dag Kristian Dysthe (Department of Physics) and Assoc. Prof. Hanna Tiainen (Institute of Clinical Dentistry).
Beyond my core research, I have interest in microscopy, data science, AI, and personalized medicine, maintaining a broad interest in innovations shaping biotechnology and healthcare.
