Academic interests
I am a theoretical condensed matter physicist, interested in topological phases in materials, both from a purely theoretical perspective and in close collaboration with experimentalists. I am particularly interested in the application of topological ideas to quantum technology, with quantum sensing being a recent interest of mine. I currently lead a Young CAS project on combining topology and quantum sensing.
I am a fellow in the DSTrain programme, co-funded by the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No. 101126636.
I am also employed in a 20% position as a researcher in the air pollution and climate change division at the Norwegian Meteorological Institute.
I am always open to and interested in collaborations and supervising of research projects. Please feel free to contact me by email.
Additionally, I am an active science communicator around quantum technology (particularly quantum computing) and its broader societal impact. If this is of interest to you, please feel free to reach out.
