I am a researcher at Njord, currently working on mineral reactivity under confinement.
This project is funded by the Research Council of Norway, FRIPRO Young Research Talent grant nr 344828: REACTivity under confinement: in-situ mineral growth within nano- and microscale volumes.
Academic interests
My research examines mineral reactivity at confined interfaces, where dissolution and crystal growth processes occur within nano- and microscale fluid volumes. I investigate how fluid confinement influence nucleation and crystal growth, and quantify the attractive and repulsive forces generated during mineral recrystallization. My work explores how these confined recrystallization processes contribute to fluid-induced deformation in porous materials and rocks.
