Academic Interests
Superconductors are materials recognized by zero electrical resistance, and special magnetic properties.
Magneto-optics combine light polarization and magnetism, and is capable of visualizing magnetic field distributions.
I develop, and use magneto-optical methods to study superconducting materials.
Higher education and employment history
I hold a PhD degree in physics, in superconductivity, and have worked at the dept. of physics since 1992.
I have also been heavily involved in popular science and outreach activities, including the Astrofestival.
