Activities from the Norwegian Centre for Climate Services

Abstract

The Norwegian Centre for Climate Services (NCCS; Norsk klimaservicesenter/link) is a collaboration between MET Norway, NVE, NORCE and Bjerknessenteret whose mandate is to issue data for climate adaptation in Norway. NCCS has published a report on projected climate change for Norway; Klima i Norge 2100 (to be updated in 2023), and Klima på Svalbard 2100 and participates in a range of research projects dealing with climate change projections and climate adaptation. For example, KSS participates in projects on process understanding, post-processing climate data (various bias-correction and downscaling methods), on developing user-oriented indices.
