Academic interests:

My main research interests lie in volcanology, mineralogi and geochemistry. Current projects in my PhD involve geochemical and textural studies on tephra, carbonate geochemistry and experimental carbonatization studies in tephra for carbon capture and storage.

I am also specially interested in the geology of Greenland, meteorite impacts and impactites and have been part of projects on these topics. This includes studies on the Ilímaussaq intrusion in SW Greenland on REEs, mineralogy and petrology (economic geology and general igneous processes). As well as studies on the Maniitsoq kimberlites, studying the formation of these and thermodynamic modelling on the diamond potential. Lastly, how carbonate precipitates in impactites from the Wabar craters in Saudi Arabia and the effect this has on plume modelling.
