Academic interests

I am an atmospheric scientist with a particular interest in processes occurring in the atmospheric boundary layer and how those affect the weather and climate system. My research activities evolve around understanding energy exchange processes across scales in the atmosphere, as well as understanding lake- and land-atmosphere interactions and other near-surface dynamical processes. I have a strong interest in studying how the atmosphere organizes in different flow regimes, what leads to regime transitions, and how different flow regimes impact exchange processes.
