Cathy Braathen is a Senior Advisor and Research Coordinator for the Department of Geosciences, University of Oslo and follows several large projects at the department. She also ilaise with economy and collaborates with partners on behalf of the researchers.
Member of the Research Administrative Network at the MN faculty (FANE-MN) where she represents geosciences.
In 2023-24 she was 1 year at the National History Museum Oslo where she worked with the Research Director to apply for external funding and organizes meetings and conferences. Here she won a bidding round for a sizable international conference "Biodiversity Information Standards (TDWG)"
