About the conference
This conference aims to address topics related to modelling the climate system and the interface with the land surface processes and hydrological impacts of climate change. It will also focus on recent developments of observation systems and data analysis including experiences with non-conventional observations, new methods to investigate the soil water dynamics, and climate services for decision making. A special focus is given to terrestrial ecosystem-climate interactions and their representation in Earth System Models (ESMs). Call for abstracts
The abstract deadline is 15. April. Please send an abstract of max 500 words by email to nhr-abstracts@nve.no, by using this template (please download it as a Word file by clicking File/Download/Microsoft Word). Write ”Abstract Modelling Conference 2021” in the subject field.
Please state the following in your email:
- which session you want to attend,
- whether you prefer an oral presentation or poster, and
- whether you would prefer to present if the conference is arranged as a i) physical conference only, ii) digital conference only eller iii) both options.
Students in Norway can apply support from the Norwegian hydrological council for their participation. Please find the application form here.

CONFERENCE FEE
A conference fee of 3500 NOK covers: 3 x Lunch, 2 x Dinner (including Banquet), Social events, Conference materials and excursion. If the conference will be held digitally, a smaller fee will apply.
