This summer Professor of theoretical Chemistry, Ludwik Adamowicz, takes a break from the hot summer in Arizona to work with Professor Thomas Bondo Pedersen and Professor Simen Kvaal at Hylleraas Centre at University of Oslo.
This spring Professor Ludwik Adamowicz will work with Professor Thomas Bondo Pedersen and Professor Simen Kvaal during his stay.
Prof. Adamowicz from the University of Arizona, USA, is a world-leading expert on non-Born-Oppenheimer quantum chemistry. He will be collaborating with Thomas Bondo Pedersen and Simen Kvaal during his visit.
Hylleraas members Oliver Bohle, Mihaly Csirik, Trygve Helgaker, Simen Kvaal, Thomas Bondo Pedersen, Simon Elias Schrader and Erik Tellgren presented their recent work at the at the workshop “Extensions and Foundations of Density-Functional Theory” at Oslo Metropolitan University.

As it turns out, yes! In a recent paper published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society, Hylleraas members Lucas Lang, Henrique M. Cezar, and Thomas B. Pedersen in a collaboration with Prof. Ludwik Adamowicz from the University of Arizona show how the structure of a molecule may be extracted from the fully quantum-mechanical molecular wave function.
