For all Hylleraas-members and collaborators
Like previous years, the Hylleraas Hackathon will take place at the UiT Skibotn Field Station. The Hackathon is an informal gathering where participants can work on any project of their choice in a secluded location. It is an excellent opportunity to work focused on a task and discuss collaborations or future projects. Many a bug has been fixed and spiteful softwares installed during the hackathons; successful grant applications have been written, and social connections established. The hackathons are welcoming to individuals who want to socialize until late as well as those who prefer to retire early.
All participants are welcome to contribute any short talks, workshops, or events in the evening hours, be it scientific or social. This year, as a special treat, YRP Tromsø has invited Dr. Mathieu Linares from the PDC at KTH, Stockholm, to give a seminar and subsequent workshop in the visualization and analysis software VIAMD. The software is mainly targeted at MD simulations, and participants in the workshop are encouraged to bring their own trajectory and see how VIAMD can help them extract information and insight from their data.
We look forward to seeing you at this second-to-last Hylleraas Hackathon!
