Suggest possible "social" and "scientific" activities to reach the intended outcomes of the next Hylleraas spring meeting in May 2019

Hylleraas seminar, hosted in Tromsø

This week's Hylleraas meeting on Friday will be dedicated to the Hylleraas spring meeting and in particular to a brainstorming session about the program for the meeting.

Abstract:

The next Hylleraas spring meeting is scheduled for May 13-15, 2019, in Norther Norway. The following intended outcomes have been formulated for the meeting:

  1. Get to know each other, especially across the nodes
  2. Create a «Hylleraas centre feeling»
  3. Discuss science and science-related topics

For this, a tentative schedule is outlined in a document distributed by e-mail where possible "social" and "scientific" activities can be filled in. The aim of this Friday's Hylleraas seminar is to present the plans so far and to gather input from all Hylleraas members on the following:

"Suggest possible "social" and "scientific" activities to reach the intended outcomes of the meeting"

Maarten Beerepoot will introduce the plans so far and chair the discussion in Tromsø. Simen Reine will chair the discussion in Oslo. All Hylleraas members are encouraged to discuss this topic before, during and after this Friday's seminar. The decisions on the program for the Hylleraas spring meeting will be taken by the Hylleraas management team.
