Title: Multiresolution of the one dimensional free-particle propagator
Abstract: Consideration is given to methods for numerical simulation of time evolution for the Schrödinger equation in the one dimensional case. We use symplectic splitting algorithms to separate the kinetic and potential parts of the corresponding propagator. Then the semigroup associated with the free-particle Schrödinger operator is represented in a multiwavelet basis. In the talk I will show how to effectively descretise this representation and use it for adaptive simulations.
