Getting to IFI
To easily reach the Department of Informatics at the Forskningsparken Station, take the metro (T-bane) and get off at Forskningsparken Station. Plan your trip using Google or the local Ruter website or app for up-to-date traffic information and disruptions.
After arriving at Forskningsparken Station, walk down the stairs. To your left, you will see the Ole-Johan Dahls Building, which houses the Department of Informatics.
Continue walking along the main road beside the tram rails for about 50 meters. On your left, there will be a pathway leading to the building. Look for a metal bridge that you can cross. In case you miss the pathway, keep walking until you have the building on your left, then make a left turn.
When you reach the building, you will find yourself outside of the second floor. On one side, there is a revolving door, and on the other side, there is a regular door leading to elevators and staircase "D" and other rooms (you need to press a gray button to the right of the door to open).
- I don't see the second floor or these doors you mentioned. If you arrived at the Ole-Johan Dahls building and entered through the first floor, likely through the revolving door, you need to walk to the end of the hallway on the first floor, away from the cafeteria. There you will see the elevators and a "D" letter on the wall denoting that you have arrived at the correct staircase.
Getting to the 5th Floor
First, you need to reach the elevators and staircase "D" in the Ole-Johan Dahls building, as per the instructions. You have the option to either use the stairs or take the elevator to the 5th floor.
Please be aware that you will require someone to let you in you access to the floor if it has not been made available for visitors.
- There is no 5th floor in the elevator I'm taking. You are not currently in the elevators in staircase "D," please go back to the 1st floor. Then, walk to the end of the hallway, which is opposite from the cafeteria. Ensure that you are taking the elevators located at staircase "D" (check for the letter in the wall in front of the elevators).
Getting to Adín's Office
You need to arrive to the elevators and staircase "D" in Ole-Johan Dahls building (see instructions). You can either go through the stairs or take the elevator to the 4th floor. My room is 4457.
You need someone to let you in into the floor.
