I’m currently a postdoctoral fellow and senior lecturer in the Network and Distributed systems group at UiO and my background is from both academia and industry. I’ve been a postdoc at University of Cambridge in the NetOS group, co-founded a startup called Unikernel Systems, worked for Docker for several years (where we built Docker Desktop). I’ve worked as principal engineer for several companies, including Tarides, where I was also VP of Engineering. I occasionally do voice acting. I’m a core maintainer of unikernel operating systems MirageOS and IncludeOS.
My research interests span low level networking and distributed (decentralised) networks, operating system research and functional (type safe) programming languages.
