Urszula W. Ayache holds an MPhil in Linguistics from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Computing Science from Imperial College London, and a PhD in Strategic Management from ESCP Business School. Alongside her academic background, she brings over a decade of industry experience in project management for the energy sector.
As a strategy scholar, Urszula is interested in how executive cognition and communication reflect, reinterpret, and shape organizational responses to institutional complexity, sustainability transitions, and business transformation. Her current focus is on how energy firms navigate fractured transition narratives amid geopolitical and market pressures.
She also has teaching experience in strategy, organizational transformation, and research methods, and is committed to research-led, practice-informed pedagogy.
At the University of Oslo’s Department of Informatics (IFI), she contributes to the INTRANSIT project, integrating research in digital innovation with sustainability transitions.
