Dr. Zhao is currently an Associate Professor of Digitalization and Entrepreneurship at UiO. Before joining UiO, she worked as an Associate Professor in Industrial Systems and Systems Engineering at University of Southeastern Norway, a Visiting Associate Professor in the Center for Design Research at Stanford University, and an in-house professor in the Sinno-Finish Center at Tongji University. Her Ph.D. degree is in technology management and innovation from the National University of Singapore. She has interdisciplinary research and teaching experiences from universities and international cooperation projects in the EU, USA and Asia. She also has industrial experience in new venture creation in the IT area. Her scholarly work has appeared in the Journal of Responsible Technology, Frontiers in Communication, Technologies, Journal of Business Venture Design, Journal of Technology and Engineering Management, TQM, Journal of System Engineering, and international communities, such as INCOSE, IEEE, etc.
