I received my MSc degrees in Autonomous Systems and Visual Computing from the Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany.
Afterward, I pursued my doctoral degree in the Medical Image Computing department at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg, Germany. My previous research focused on intra-operative C-arm data and computer-assisted trauma interventions. As a postdoc, I continued my research and worked in software development for Medical Physics in Radiation Oncology.
My main interest lies in developing robust deep learning applications for medical imaging and facilitating their clinical translation. At DSB, I will work with GE Healthcare and the Norwegian Computing Center on cardiac ultrasound image analysis and I look forward to being part of the group!
