The hospital’s laboratory is the second laboratory in Norway to use BD Kiestra and the first to have four workstations connected directly to the conveyor belt. It is sensible to think that the practices of the laboratory workers have been considerably affected.
Master’s projects under this topic should focus on investigating the impacts of the introduction of BD Kiestra in the laboratory workers’ practices, with focus on understanding how the system can better support the workers and how the workers can make the best use of it in their daily work.
