EU has the ambition of strengthening cybersecurity through collaboration between member states and by establishing organizations with different roles. The figure below shows some of these organizations.

While this has great potential, there are also many challenges.
This project focuses on the following:
- What is the current status of cybersecurity collaboration in the form of established organizational structures and policies?
- What are the potential advantages and disadvantages of cybersecurity collaboration at the EU level, as opposed to each member state handling cybersecurity on their own?
- To what degree can nation states balance collaboration with national priorities?
