Abstract
Grasple is a practise and assessment tool optimised for mathematics and statistics, with a focus on open education. We're a mission driven social enterprise that has been active in the Netherlands since 2014.
The core functionality of Grasple is its ability to evaluate mathematical expressions. This lends itself to a host of possibilities like direct feedback for students, automatic grading and personalised courses based on diagnostic test results. Grasple has been used by various universities such as:
-
TU Delft uses Grasple extensively for their interfaculty statistics and mathematics education.
-
At Utrecht University, Kirsten uses Grasple to teach Research Methods at large scale with a flipped classroom approach.
-
The University of Twente recently embraced open-content using Grasple to shape their mathline.
