Jeg er veldig spent på å jobbe her ved Universitetet i Oslo, med en lang tradisjon for sterk forskning og undervisning, der Niels Henrik Abel pleide å være. Opprinnelig fra Vietnam reiste jeg over hele verden og studerte og jobbet: Indiana University (USA) PhD, 2006-2012, under oppsyn av professor Eric Bedford; Syracuse University (USA), Postdoc, 2012 - 2014; Korea Institute for Advanced Study (Sør-Korea), Postdoc, 2014-2015; og Universitetet i Adelaide (Australia), Postdoc 2015 - 2017; før du kommer hit til Oslo. Min doktorgradsavhandling var på tilbaketrekking av positive lukkede strømmer av meromorfe kart. Noen av mine nåværende forskningsemner er: algebraisk interpolering, embedding av algebraiske kurver i kompleksplanet, geometrien og dynamikken i abelske varianter og deres kvoter, relasjoner mellom Weils Riemann-hypoteser og standardformodninger og dynamiske systemer. Nylig har jeg også forsket på Gradient Descent metoder og applikasjoner i Dyp Læring (Deep Learning).

Mine hobbyer inkluderer: lesing, svømming og dykking, lytter til musikk, henger ut med venner, reiser, spiller spillet Go, og løser labyrinter.
