My interest in natural and earth sciences led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Geological Sciences at the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, graduating in 2023 with a thesis on the geological mapping of the Passo Rolle Fault area (Italian Dolomites) and the permeability assessment of the Val Gardena Sandstone Formation.
I continued with a Master’s in Geology and Territory at the University of Bologna (curriculum Raw Materials Exploration and Sustainability), spending one semester abroad at Luleå University of Technology (Sweden) and participating in a research mission in Oman, where I collected structural and petrological data for my thesis. My research focused on thrusting and veining processes under blueschist-facies conditions in the Jabal Akhdar Mountains (Oman).
After graduating in 2025, I started my PhD at the University of Oslo, as part of the VICCO Centre. I am particularly motivated to better understand the processes that govern effective and long-term CO₂ sequestration, supporting global climate mitigation efforts.
