I completed my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in petroleum and structural geology. In late 2020, I moved from Beijing to Tübingen to pursue my PhD in Germany as part of an interdisciplinary project combining structural geology, glaciology, and geodynamic modelling. My research focused on how ice microstructure and rheology influence large-scale ice-sheet deformation, such as folding, ice streams, and shear margins.
I am excited to come to Oslo for my postdoctoral research under the DYNAMICE project, where I can continue working on ice rheology, anisotropy, and numerical modelling. I am also broadly interested in the deformation of viscous materials, basin evolution, and tectonic processes.
