Highlight feature in the American Astronomical Society Nova

A recent article by RoCS' doctoral research fellow, Souvik Bose and K. Nagaraju of the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, is featured as a research highlight in the American Astonomical Society Nova.

Sample of full-disk images of the Sun observed on 21.04.2012 00:00:00 UTC by *SDO*/AIA at 1600 and 4500 Å and a corresponding *SDO*/HMI magnetogram with the contours of the identified features overlaid on them.

The scientists performed a study on the imbalances in the sun's magnetic flux, and explores the possible contributions to these changes. They have published their results in The Astrophysical Journal.
